新東方與好未來(lái)聯合成立情系遠山公益基金會

11月29日下午，在(zài)GES2017未來(lái)教育大(dà)會閉幕當天，新東方創始人(rén)俞敏洪老師和(hé / huò)我們好未來(lái)創始人(rén)張邦鑫老師，作爲(wéi / wèi)大(dà)會壓軸嘉賓上(shàng)演了(le／liǎo)一(yī / yì ／yí)場精彩的(de)“新好論道(dào)”，爲(wéi / wèi)本次大(dà)會獻上(shàng)了(le／liǎo)最受矚目的(de)閉幕禮。

On November 29th, at the closing ceremony of the Global Education Summit (GES) 2017, the founders of New Oriental and TAL Education Group came together to stage a much anticipated finale. Yu Minhong (founder of New Oriental) and Tom Zhang (founder of TAL Education Group), promoted a wonderful "new path" in support of the conference.

現場兩位老師共同宣布，新東方與好未來(lái)将出(chū)資一(yī / yì ／yí)億元人(rén)民币聯合成立“情系遠山公益基金會”，共同探索教育公益新模式，用科技推動中國(guó)教育均衡發展。

Together, they announced a joint venture of 100 million RMB to set up the Yuanshan Public Welfare Foundation. The two companies will explore new methodsto promote the balanced development of public education, using science and technology throughout China.

按照計劃，雙方将各出(chū)資5000萬元作爲(wéi / wèi)原始基金，整合各自的(de)學科優勢，形成合力，把優質教育資源通過現代科技手段輸送到(dào)中國(guó)農村和(hé / huò)邊遠地(dì / de)區，讓農村和(hé / huò)邊遠地(dì / de)區的(de)孩子(zǐ)，看到(dào)更多的(de)希望。據悉，這(zhè)一(yī / yì ／yí)基金會未來(lái)會成爲(wéi / wèi)一(yī / yì ／yí)個(gè)開放的(de)公益平台，歡迎所有教育行業同仁加入，爲(wéi / wèi)教育公平貢獻一(yī / yì ／yí)份力量。

The plan is that both parties will each contribute 50 million RMB, integrate their respective advantages in various disciplines, and make a concerted effort to bring high-quality educational resources to China's rural and remote locations. Modern scientific and technological tools will be offered to provide greater opportunities to children in these areas. The goal is that the foundation will act as an open platform for philanthropy going forward and all others are welcome to contribute towards equity in education.

從2008年捐建希望小學開始，到(dào)2013年成立好未來(lái)公益基金、2016年好未來(lái)“同一(yī / yì ／yí)課堂”項目通過直播技術和(hé / huò)“雙師課堂”将課程及産品搬進四川、甘肅的(de)8所鄉村小學。再到(dào)2017年，好未來(lái)“希望在(zài)線教育公益平台”上(shàng)線，爲(wéi / wèi)資源匮乏地(dì / de)區提供優質在(zài)線課程和(hé / huò)教學産品，開放直播及學習平台，好未來(lái)一(yī / yì ／yí)直沒有停止公益的(de)探索和(hé / huò)實踐。

It began with the donation to fund the building of Hope Primary School in 2008, and was followed by the establishment of TAL Public Welfare Foundation in 2013. TAL also brought its “One Class” project to eight rural primary schools in Sichuan and Gansu. The project utilizes live broadcasting technology and TAL’s "dual-teacher” method. For regions with limited resources, Hope Online Public Education Platform was launched in 2017 to provide quality online courses and teaching products via a live learning platform. TAL is constantly engaging in the pursuit and practice of philanthropy projects.
